Travel by Bus and Shuttles
Saita buses operate between Trieste's central bus station (Piazza Liberta), which is next to the railway station, and the airport every day except on Sundays. If you ask the driver the bus will stop along Strada Costiera. From the central bus station there numerous services to national destinations available. Car parking is provided for at the port terminal for both short and long-duration parking. There is a set-down area situated in front of the terminal building. The availability of designated parking spaces for disabled drivers is limited.

Most of the time taxis can be found around the area of the terminal. Taxis are the fastest way to get around in Trieste, although long drives are not advisable as rates can be very expensive compared to other options.
